My favorite Metalhead is just an average Joe...

I and my friends are mostly in the unexciting age group of 45 to 54.  I think that there are few people doing exciting things in that time, but not my friend Joe Martocchio...who is a metalhead.

Joe is one of two lead guitarists in a band called Xkursion, out of New Hartford, CT.  These guys make some awesome, original metal tunes.  I could go on and compare them to other established acts, but it just wouldn't do them any credit.  These guys were playing in bands throughout their teens and early twenties, and then took time off to get jobs, raise families, etc.

Then they hit their mid-40s and got bored.

For about 2 years now, they've been writing, recording and producing their own original tracks, and gradually getting better and better airplay...and they sound awesome.

Welcome, nice to have you here, drag up a rock and help me figure out something:  Since Christmas I've been on a major projects frenzy - built two robots, a catapult & a steam engine...what's next?  I have 3 days until I'm gainfully employed and have to get back on the road to southern Illinois...any  suggestions?
